Chapter 33 Wedding Bliss Part 2

 Sara Sidle and Gil Grissom stood on front on thier beautiful wedding cake with a knife ready to cut it for thier guests.Catherine was first in line and Sara cut her the first piece of cake and handed it to her with a smile joking that Catherine got the best piece."Wow it looks delicious" Catherine exclaimed and went to sit down and enjoy it.Gil cut a little piece and put in inside Sara's mouth "Mmmmmm" she smiled "Sooo good" The cake was lemon and it was moist and sweet and delicious. She cut a little hunk and fed it to him as Warrick stepped up in line and smiled at them both, they were so cute together and Gil cut him a piece of cake and handed it to him .

After they cut the cake Grissom stepped up to the microphone in the room and thanked everyone for coming, he then glanced at Sara and how absolutely beautful she looked and he said fondly "Look at my wife, is'nt she the most beautiful bride you have ever seen?" Everyone turned to look at Sara and she blew Grissom a kiss and he came back where she was sitting and reached for her delicate hand "Care to dance with me beautiful ?" he asked and Sara grinned and stood up and they went out to the dance floor and danced to the song "The way you look tonight" Catherine wiped away tears as she watched them dancing.Sara had never looked happier and Grissom was so in love.They continued dancing and others joined them out on the dance floor.Laura Sidle was anxious to congradulate Sara and talk to her.She was so happy for Sara and she loved seeing her daughter so happy.

The photographers appeared and looked around for the couple and saw them dancing and waited patiently for them to finish, they wanted to take some more pictures of the couple .Sara and Grissom noticed them and came over for the pictures, they posed and both looked elegant and the photographers snapped away.Finally after the photos Laura got a chance to talk to Sara, Sara came over and sat by her and she kissed Sara and told her "Honey you look so beautiful" Sara smiled and said "Thanks mom , I'm so glad you could come" Laura 's eyes sparkled and she said "I would'nt have missed it for the world" Sara blinked away tears of joy and she saw Grissom smiling at her from across the room.She smiled back at him and her mom whispered "Wow is he handsome" Sara giggled and said "I know" Grissom had never looked better in his shiny black and white tuxedo and Sara felt like the luckiest lady on earth to have such a wonderful and caring man as her husband.To Be Continued ...................................

Chapter 32 -The Wedding

Sara woke up on July 7'th and smiled -it was finally here , her wedding day, it was also her 39'th birthday too,  Grissom snored next to her and she smiled, she was so excited , her cell phone rang and it was Catherine "Sara, Happy Birthday" she said , Sara laughed and "Awww thanks Catherine, are you in your dress yet?" Catherine nodded, she was already wearing her teal blue bridesmaid dress and the color looked lovely on her with her red hair."Oh Catherine, Sara confessed "I'm so nervous" Catherine understood, she had had butterflies in her stomach on her wedding day too "I know Sara, but you'll be just fine" Sara smiled and Grissom woke up and went to shave and brush his teeth.Sara was still talking to Catherine and he smiled and got out the birthday card and the present he had for Sara, he put it down beside her and she gasped "Grissom what is this ?" He grinned and said "Happy birthday beautiful" Sara was touched and told Catherine Grissom had just given her a birthday present, "Well go open it Sara, Catherine laughed "I'll see you soon ok" "Ok " Sara said and they hung up.Grissom came back over to Sara and sat down by her , first she opened her present and it was a beautiful blue butterfly in a little case, it was so pretty she loved it and thanked him, she carefully opened the card and it was such a beautiful card , it had butterflies on it and inside he had written "Happy Birthday to my angel, even though it is your birthday by marrying you today I feel like I am getting a present too, I 'll always love you Sara , Grissom XO, she was so touched she did'nt say anything but then she kissed him and thanked him.

The limo was to pick them up in 10 minutes so they hurried and got ready, Sara grabbed her wedding dress and held it close to her.Grissom had his tux in his hand, all ready to go, A little while later they heard the limo driver honking outside and they grabbed thier wedding clothes and locked up and went outside.The limo driver greeted them both warmly and they climbed in feeling nervous and excited at the same time.They arrived at the church in 15 minutes and as soon as they got there Catherine whisked Sara away to do her make -up and help her with her hair.Grissom found Nick and Warrick who were both dressed up in thier tuxedos looking like a million bucks and they all started talking.Catherine grabbed Sara's hand and said "Sara I'm going to make you look stunning for Grissom"Sara's eyes took Catherine in and she said warmly "Catherine you look beautiful in that dress" Catherine asked "Really? thanks" Catherine got her make -up kit out and started working on Sara's make-up applying foundation, blush, mascara, eyeliner and the perfect shade of lipstick.When she was done she handed Sara a mirror "OMG Catherine , you did a great job"Catherine shrugged and said "You are already a natural beauty Sara, I did'nt have to do much"Next Catherine got out her hair tools and started working on Sara's hand, she decided to use the curling iron and made little curls around Sara's face with it , then she took some little jasmime flowers and gently pinned them in Sara's hair, Sara could'nt believe her eyes when Catherine had her in the mirror, she looked prettier then she ever had before and she hugged Catherine and thanked her.Catherine looked up and saw Sara's dress hanging up and said , "Here , let's have you put on your wedding dress now" Just then Laura Sidle appeared in the doorway and gasped at how beautiful Sara looked , she and Catherine were both going to help Sara with her dress.

Warrick and Nick and Doc Robbins and Greg and Brass were all gathered around Grissom.They were all in thier wedding attire and were all happily talking and catching up like old friends do.The church started to fill up with thier friends and loved ones and Grissom stood up at the front of the church waiting for Sara, the music started to play and he felt in his pocket for her ring, it was still there and he smiled as he touched it.The pews in the church were full and everyone was in thier seats and then the audience gasped as Sara came in walking down the aisle, Brass was giving her away and Grissom could'nt believe his eyes when he saw Sara, she was a vision of beauty in her wedding dress, the color, a lovely pale yellow made her skin glow and brought out the rosiness in her cheeks,  and her face was done up so perfectly, there were little tendrils of hair that framed her face and the little flowers in her hair made her look angelic, he swallowed back the lump in his throat and then Sara came up to him, arm in arm in Brass.Catherine wiped away tears, she was so proud of Sara and she was proud to be one of Sara's bridesmaids.Sophia was also a bridesmaid as well as Jacqui and Mandy and her best childhood friends, Diane and Ann and Nicole.Grissom looked at Sara and whispered that she looked amazing.Sara beamed at him and thought he looked very handsome in his tuxedo.

The minister started talking then and started the vows "Gil do you take Sara to be your wife? To live together after God's ordinance- in the holy state of matrimony ?Will you love her, comfort her, honor her, and keep her in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness,  and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon her your hearts deepest devotion forsaking all others, keep yourself onto her as long as you both shall live?"Grissom looked at Sara and how beautiful she looked and wiped a tear and then looked at he minister and said "I certainly do"Then it was Sara's turn , the minister turned to Sara and said "Sara do you take Gil to be your husband ? To live together after God 's ordinance- in the holy state of matrimony? Will you love him, comfort him, honor him,  and keep him, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, for better, for worse, in sadness and in joy, to cherish and continually bestow upon him your heart's deepest devotion, forsaking all others, keep him only unto him as long as you both shall live?"Sara looked at Grissom and wiped a tear and said "I do"They both exchanged the rings and the minister said "Grissom  in placing this ring on Sara's finger, repeat after me "Sara you are now consecrated to me as my wife from this day forward and I give you this ring as the pledge of my love and as the symbol of our unity and with this ring I thee wed"

Then he handed Sara  the ring and isaid "Sara in placing this ring on Grissom's finger you are now consecrate to me as my husband from this day forward and I give you this ring as the pledge of my love and as the symbol of our unity and with this ring I thee wed"
The minister then said "May you always share with each other the gifts of love- be one in heart and in mind-may you always create a home together that puts in your hearts-love,generosity and kindness, In as much as Grissom and Sara have consented together in marriage before this company of friends and family and have pledged thier faith- and declared thier unity by giving and recieving a ring are now joined, you have pronounced yourselves husband and wife, but remember to be each other's best friend, what-therefore-God has joined together-let no man ,asunder and so by the power vested in me by the state of Nevada and almightly God I now pronounce you man and wife- and may your days be good and long upon the earth, you may now kiss the bride"

Grissom gently lifted Sara's veil and her eyes glowed with happiness and he kissed her feeling on top of the world and the audience clapped and cheered , Grissom and Sara were married and it was truly the happiest day of thier lives.Catherine and Nick, Warrick Greg,Doc Robbins  and Brass hugged the couple and offered thier congratulations.Sara looked at her friends and said "Guys are you hungry?, go help yourself to some food"There was a little of everthing, cold cuts, fresh fruit, a big green salad, tacos, and in the middle of thier feast was thier beautiful wedding cake.It was a three tiered cake with ice pink roses and pearls and it was vanilla cake with lemon filling and it looked delicious.To Be Continued ...........................
