Chapter 86

Grissom and Sara were at home decorating thier Christmas tree.Sara smiled at him as he strung the lights up on the tree.Christmas made her happy but also a little sad too.It made her think back upon her painful childhood and her abusive father.Grissom sensed something was bothering Sara , he planned to ask her later if she was ok.They finished decorating the tree and went up to thier bedroom to lay down for a while.

Sara lay facing Grissom, "Are you ok honey?' he asked her gazing at her .She blinked and swallowed and said "I was thinking of my dad and how he was mean to me even at Christmas" She felt a tear slide down her face and Grissom felt his heart break for Sara.He pulled her into his arms and hugged her and said in a gentle voice "Sara, you are the kindest, most beautiful woman I have ever known and you never deserved anyone to treat you badly, I'm so sorry that happened to you sweetheart"Sara felt warm and safe in his hug and she kissed his hand and said "I love you Grissom" He pushed back her hair and said "I love you too honey, he said "You are an amazing woman and I am so proud to know you"

Sara felt better after he talked to her and she fell alsleep with Grissom holding her in her arms.He loved having her close to him, he smelled her gardenia bodywash and smiled.Sara loved how Grissom always made her feel beautiful.He loved her with all of his heart and would do anything to make her happy.Catherine always told Sara how lucky she was to have Grissom, but Sara knew she was lucky.She had a man who loved her unconditionally and a beautiful little girl.
